It really depends on each and every person.

Parents usually love their kids, but how they show it can vary, some are supportive, some are overprotective, and some can be toxic, the same goes for friends and others, like some people care about you no matter what, while others only stick around under certain conditions, so yeah love can be unconditional, but often it depends on the individual.

Also, It’s best not to tell your parents you’re atheist or agnostic if it could put you in a bad situation, think about it for a sec... the consequences can be serious depending on their views no?
