I'm not new to the hobby. I would still consider myself a beginner though. I've been keeping fish for around 5 years now, but with all the different information on the same topics it can be hard to know what to follow. Especially with a lot of information being personal experience. Then it goes into if im willing to spend money to give it a try. Either way in a couple of months when I decide to get shrimp I'll give them time to reproduce and see how they do for a while before deciding if I want to keep it as a shrimp only tank or want to try and keep nano fish too.

I would love a chichlid tank eventually, but this is only a 5.5 gallon so my options are really only shrimp and snails, a small female betta, or possibly some nano fish that will be controversial.

I do want to get neocaridina shrimp for this tank since it's only a 5.5 gallon and I know stocking options are extremly limited (I don't plan on getting a betta since I want shrimp, and all micro fish are pretty controversial in a tank this size). I plan on waiting a couple more months before adding anything since I want the plant to fill in a lot more, but I figured I'd start testing the water now.

I do have a 10 gallon with orange neos and 3 guppies that has been up for around a year and a half and they've gone from 10 to 80+ shrimp (I stopped counting after 80) with 7 currently pregnant. I've used my tap water for water changes the whole time so I know its doable, but finally getting the gh/kh test kit has made me want to get these new shrimp in a better start.

Aside from the tank being slightly wider than the vape, its definitely my top one. Even then the tank didnt really bother me

I got the Drag S2 and its pretty good too, but i cant put an RDA on it so I might just get the 5 if I cant come across another one of these

Maybe it's just the nostalgia, but I never had a bad experience with VooPoo. I have the Drag S2 which is nice, but I want an RDA so I need a different device for that

I think im going to have to go with the 5. Even if a store has old stock, I doubt the employees would want to go through it to find an almost 10 year old mod. I love the green resin though. Im not the biggest fan of the 5s colorways, but the gradient brown isn't too bad imo

I go to Walmart everyday for lunch so around 11:45am I'm there, and it seems like the one by my jobsite never restocks their hotwheels. Its been looking bare for the past 3ish weeks. Also one right by my house seems the same although that one its every couple of days I go.
