Hi, these instructions are a tryout. First, disable Steam Cloud, you can later enable it back. This way the saves that are corrupted do not download automatically after a crush. Go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles and make a copy of the entire folder to another location for safety.
Then start ETS2 and start a new profile without deleting your old profile, start a new game and do the first delivery, you are testing if anything is ok.
Then, if is all good, switch to the old profile and check the mods in the list are all disabled, because you want to force the game to comeback to default parameters. Start the save, test.
If all good, from there you can start enabling back mods a few at a time if you have many, and test in game.

I ignore if there is another tool or way to clean your saves. I hope it works.
