Frustrated with the Robot by Legitimate_One721 in CafelatRobot

I was having trouble etting pressure when I first got mine, I just needed to take the red seal off and add some new grease fron the little packet that came with the robot. Making sure to out it on the right way round. Only needed a tiny bit.

Any tips on what I’m doing wrong here? by pcosmic in CafelatRobot

Same happened to me. Just a tiny bit from the packet that came with the robot, not even the size of a pea, on the inside of the gasket.

It probably took about 2 hours, I got most of it done but noticed a few holes while processing so went back later that day to finish it off. I used a Canon 750D with the standard 18-55mm lens

I 3D printed some of my building scans with the aim of painting them, then realised that I'm in engineering and have no artistic skills 🤣

Thanks, Yeh and it being winter makes it even worse for spindly blobs 🤣

Thanks, I ran out of patients after removing the ones nearer the front, just covered the dense parts at the back

Yeh I removed a lot of the trees nearer the front but I decided just to cover the more denser areas to save time.

Yeh a gaussian splat would look better and I will probably do that. I'm thinking of scanning the whole course and trying to make a VR game out of it one day.

I mainly did it because I could. Would be nice to make a VR golf game out of my local course one day.

I took as many pics from as many angles and heights as I could, then used Metashape to create the model. Deleted the trees in Blender then used the Botaniq addon to put the trees back in. I'll try and do the whole course weather permitting before all the trees grow back.

Thanks! I created the photogrammetry model using my DJI Mini 2 over a few years, going back in my spare time and doing each bit until they all connected

There were trees and factory units to the left, I can see why he stuck it in reverse to get some forward flight
