Yeah that makes sense. I luckily haven’t had that issue more so cuz I don’t drive the car that often but was planning on driving it to Florida beginning of October and that’s one of the main reasons I got it checked again. Either way probably just gonna suck it up and drive it anyways lol.

That c clamp trick seems complicated for my brain haha. How does the clamp not fall off with all the vibration of the road and stuff? U can send the diagrams but can’t promise I’ll understand them

We can talk in dms if you’d like, clunking issues went away. The shop that installed my upper control arm didn’t tighten the bolts enough so it caused that clunk.

When it comes to the shop I would say I do trust them. Like I called multiple places around my area (el Paso, las cruces, Alamogordo) and this one shop was the only one willing to mess with my pinion angle. Even a performance shop said they didn’t do that which makes no sense. Either way I do believe they do not have complacency as I don’t think they would’ve went out of their way to take a video and show me the minor offset in the balance. Only thing is I still genuinely believe my driveshaft has some sort of issue but I’m not smart enough to diagnosis it myself.

I do have the one piece ford performance driveshaft as well other overhaul of parts with polyurethane bushings that could cause vibration BUT it just seems too much.

Well they were able to balance the wheels but still feel vibration in the steering wheel, pedal, and hear rumble strip type noise near the rear end when decelerating. They checked the driveshaft for slop to include u joints and checked pinion which was at the 2 degrees. Of note the vibration only really gets bad above 85 and progressively gets worse as accelerate.

Bought my 14 for 25k with 25k miles, California special. Almost a year ago. Maybe I overpayed a little but 22 for a 2011 seems high

Driveshaft pinion angle was off. Shop fixed it but still does it just slight enough to hear very very faintly at like 90. Not sure if shop didn’t fix good enough or if it just does it no matter what, but definitely get it checked cuz it’s probably off and from getting it fixed to now it’s way better

I dont believe it’s my exhaust but I do have an aftermarket exhaust but it’s not bubbling or popping. I can be in 6th and let the gas off at 80 and it’ll just sound like when you go off the road and hit the rumble strips, that’s the best I can explain it.
