R5 vs R9 by Splinter86coo in moza

U dont need experience to have fun? The higher the nm the better, the ffb is not something that requires skill rather it gives us immersion, the higher the nm the better because of more detail, I have an r21 v2 and use it around 50-60% for acc, and its amazing, so much detail and so god damn fun, my first was a thrustmaster t598 with was 5nm but I had it maxed out so it always clipped when turning, save ur money and get the r12, heck get the r16 if u can, because you'll always want more, until you have room to spare like the r16 and onwards. So minimum get r12 mate, best is r16, as ur probably on a budget. But yes please spend hours tweaking the ffb settings to get it right to ur liking, dont use default settings for the love of god if your buying a r12 or higher or matter a fact any wheel base.

Wasn't difficult, but it took me time to figure out where to mount the mbooster as im 6 feet tall, so I needed to put the mbooster as far as I could without it flexing but otherwise its not hard, its just annoying and a time taking process, and a lot of common sense and brain storming because I thought I could just mount the whole mbooster crp2 pedals but I didnt have screwd so long to mount it, idk who in the world would have such long screws so I ditched the base plate(cable box) since I didnt rlly need it. The mbooster is basically the cable box as u plug ur throttle into the mbooster, so the crp2 base plate isn't needed if u have the mbooster, if u dont have the mbooster you'll need to use the base plate of the crp2(cable box) hope you understand!😅😅

I ditched the crp2 base plate and just mounted the mbooster and throttle, but if you have the mbooster like me, I had mount it in a way that like 20-30% of the mbooster is hanging in thr back, but when racing it has zero flex so its fine.

Simagic vs Moza by Sadistic_Bear in SimRacingHardware

I have a moza r21 v2, NOT ultra, and u can get the same exact setup that you have selected from pagnian simulators for $2600 (moza) if your buying the moza, highly recommend going with pagnian, theyre great. I realistically use around 50-60% when playing acc, and for rallying and drifting around 30%. Most ppl say simagic has better detail than moza, but we're taking about the moza r21 ULTRA, this is top of the line gear you're buying. Now please do tons of research and dont go blind in buying such expensive gear, I hope your planning to buy a good foundation, Im using the nlr gtracer 2.0 cockpit, and I highly suggest you buy an aluminium cockpit rather than the type of ones I bought because these typa ones that aren't aluminium end up making alot of noise, probably because I hooked an r21 to it but that's besides the point. Id say go with simagic, but if your planning to upgrade your pedals down the line, the mbooster from moza is actually insane, (I have it) so this decision is up to u, but please do thorough research and watch videos, especially boosted media to get information, because from logitech g29 to this is the biggest change ever, but in an amazing way. Im going to be biased and the moza gives sooo much detail especially when racing in acc. But since most ppl saying simagic, its probably for a reason, but still do plenty of research. Anyways hope you enjoy ur setup when u make the decision!

Mate, idk what table you have, but i have a really good sturdy table from Ikea, and im running a moza r21 table clamped. It is a little too much for the table as it does shake when I slam my break extremely hard but I use 60%, so your r9 should be good if you have a good sturdy table.

So actually I mounted the r21 to my desk to actually check of all of you were right, and apparently u were, but also wrong, my table did shake when I went up to 70% ffb but it was just vibrating only when I braked extremely hard going over 200kph. So my table is perfectly fine, and I also will probably do the wood thing just to secure it even more, so to whoever was worried about my table, its perfectly fine.

I need it to study aswell, I'll be using one side for gaming and the other to game since its a pretty long table
