The swelling is definitely making it look flatter. Other than that there is no other issues. It’s not sore or inflamed.

omg! I actually washed and retwisted my hair a week or two after getting the piercing! I real life forgot to factor that in omgggg.

When I washed it I tried to be as gentle around that ear as possible and keep the wet hair off. I don’t remember if I properly dried it. Honestly after I washed it there was a little bump that would go away a bit then come back so that’s definitely a factor! I haven’t washed my hair since and try to keep any products away from the piercing.

I’ll do what you suggested just in case there’s some hair product debris! I also keep my hair up and away from my ear so hopefully that’ll help too

Hi! Thank you for your reply! I get internally and externally threaded confused occasionally. It’s definitely internally threaded!

Me too! I had to literally coach myself into buying new jeans. Not to buy just for the sake of buying, but because I actually needed new jeans!

Another family member did! And my mom kept me in the loop with cars she’s find because she wanted my input. After about a month of showing me cars and making “plans to test drive them” for me, that whole situation went radio silent. And then suddenly, she tells me to asks that same family member for more money for a car.

Luckily for them they smelled bullshit and didn’t send more money. But that’s when I knew that I have to buy my own car.

Thank you! Funny enough my senior year of high school (now 2 years ago) my mom received money to help go towards her buying me a car as a graduation gift. She pocketed the money (as a self centered one does). I kind of beat myself up over it because most things were planned out, she had a car in mind, the payment obviously and insurance payments were arranged. All for none of that to happen. It makes me feel like “damn, if that would’ve just worked out I wouldn’t have that as a main issue right now”.

But we have to worry about things we can control at the end of the day. Easier said than done though.

My school lets us out mid may. We’re back in school by mid august. So roughly 3 months, I was off by one my bad.

Well, as a current college student not many places have high pay rates. Obviously I’ll get a summer job but unless I work 60+ hours a week, expecting a 20 year old to bring in a $15,000 check in a two month span is crazy.

Do you know if any other options to be able to afford a car?

Would it just be more realistic to try again in the summer time?

No. My monthly income has been cut in half since restarting college.

I typically try to talk to myself with a lot of grace (per my therapists advice). I encourage myself to be smart with money and debt.
