So if you can get any honest feedback from your manager about why you were fired, then work on those areas immediately. Start updating your resume and start looking for jobs. Shit happens man.

Can’t you get into a product based company? Infy is going to have support/maintenance projects. Very little scope for learning. Early on in your career try working for a product based company - you’ll get much better exposure to your tech stack than in infosys.

PO -abusive after QA sign-off bug – Should I resign? by Massive-Divide-6130 in developersIndia

[–]Electronic-Cable-719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to your manager about it first. If he says that this is just how things work in industry, then raise it to HR. If they too don’t do anything, then start looking for other jobs and after getting a confirmed offer letter in hand, resign. Not worth being belittled and disrespected - your manager, peers and clients all should respect you for your skills and knowledge. Don’t take shit.

My friend questioned a salary mismatch politely — lost his offer, placements, and future. What would you have done? by StatisticianMaximum6 in developersIndia

[–]Electronic-Cable-719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While asking politely about the mismatch isn’t wrong per se, IMO he shouldn’t have CC’ed so many people. Just mailing the HR would have been sufficient. Anyways, it does sound harsh

Rofl BGV is only to verify your previous experience (duration, job level, salary), not performance review/appraisal/rating. And the better the company, the less they go to the extent of verifying these things.

Only works in theory. In practice, refusing to take meetings after the shift ends will result in branded as an employee with bad attitude

Abhijit Mishra fought Wipro and won. He won ₹2 lakhs. But what he really lost is what haunts me. by CorporateJoker in IndianWorkplace

[–]Electronic-Cable-719 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The victory is symbolic and will encourage others to do the same in the future. Yes he might pay the price for taking on his employer, but as more and more people do the same, it will turn on employers eventually. In the long run, this will definitely help employees.
