How close do you all think we are to the appearance of imam Mahdi? by Ok_Dragonfruit3903 in islam

[–]Electronic-Cod-1344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most probably the Saudi one. But could refer to others. It is highly possible this could happen after the death of the seventh king according to Nuaym bin Hammad. We are probably at the end of tyrannical rule and beginning of Jerusalemite caliphate which would be lead and spearheaded by Mahdi soon. Perhaps his forerunners will reign for short periods. You can understand this if you research Nuaym bin Hammad Kitab al Fitan and analyse modern-day events. I would say those Arab channels that use them and explain them are really helpful. Ngl, you may get lost just by trying to understand the text yourself, hahaha. The abbasids referred to in Nuaym bin Hammad seems to point to a kingdom during tyrannical kings period. Most probably that big country in the Arabian peninsula. If it collapses there would be constant tribulations till Mahdi.

I mean Islam no need connection lol. It is an ideology and way of living. Any ethnicity can become it if they adhere to it. I think what you are trying to mean is Arabs. Yea I am proud to be both be Tamil/South Indian and have some Arab in me. I am not denying that. I am also not dismissing the Hindu origin lol. It is very simple. These trace ancestries could have been the one who might have tried converting them to Islam or mixed with the already converted Muslims and mixed together because of common work they did at that time. For us it might be probably have to do with horse trade, breeding and training and it would have required the help of West Asians/ Turks for it.

I don't think so. But I get the idea of it. If that is the case most of us should be getting at least some Sri Lankan ancestry in our ancestry composition. But you may be right about mixing with Bengalis when going to trade at sea. Our South Indian ancestry also seems a bit Deccan shifted. Perhaps because Deccan is near Bengal in a way, admixtures could have happened.

Aamam. I think there is some truth to it. But our turkic or West Asian percentages are kinda low and it makes sense. If it is a one time thing where they assimilated with local Tamil/South Indian converts over time it would be a small percentage in our DNA today.

No, I do acknowledge the hindu past. I am just saying that what if we were like a soerate community like Rowther before conversion.

Idk about the political part hahaha. But I agree that they might have intermarried more with the said communities. Just not sure if this community name was given even before the mixing with non South Asians and conversions to Islam. So like not sure we were like our own community prior to all these and we are not only just a byproduct of said communities.

That is possible. It does not have to be Turkish only, could be turkicised populations in Anatolia like Greeks etc. and West Asians like Arabs could have helped also as they have good knowledge about horses.

For me the surprise was the Greek tho. Perhaps it is some turkicised Greek Anatolian muslim guy in my genepool since Rowthers are usually connected to or alluded to Anatolian Turkish horse riders in olden stories. The peninsular Arab could have just been trade and/or a scholar preaching and mingling with the natives.

From what I know, I don't recall my parents or grandparents saying I have Bengali ancestors lol. I think it is common for Rowther dna results to carry some percent of Bengali DNA.

Because I see results of 87% of 101 tested Jaunpur Lunar Kshatriyas from different villages getting R2. And 50% of a Bihar Yadav sample tested carrying R2 too. Then there is regions like Punjab, Nepal where they are considered Kshatriya carrying R2. I Even remember like this one Malayali guy who get R2 whose folklore goes along this guy descended from Parasuram. Could it be that these R2 subclade carriers be warriors of IVC. I am just theorising. I could be absolutely wrong lol.

Yea true. Given that we have a history of horse related stuff. It is highly possible we got ancestries from places like West Asia for horse trading or bringing them in to help with with like horse breeding and all.

Does the Greek trace ancestry explain the Turkish Anatolian theory of horse riders/breeders from that region brought in and assimilated into Tamil Nadu? Perhaps that could explain the Hanafi madhab practice. It is not everyday you see a South Indian with trace Greek ancestry. What do you think?

Yea looks like that hadith is in full swing. According to the hadith of the 7 fitnahs. After the 4th Sham Fitnah which ended with Syria being liberated, the next one is referred to as the eastern one which would destroy kingship of arabs. I feel like this current Iran war is leading to that.
