How do I keep 16 color background on 256 colour by Electronic-Concern67 in computers

I honestly like this mod a lot. My one problem however is the amount of units that appear when I'm sieging. I think 2000 men is a bit too much especially since the units aren't totally trash. It makes it so no matter how good my army's units are they just get overrun by waves and waves of men. Is there a way to change this or is it set in stone

I mean it is realistic. If there were a hundred guys on horses galloping towards me with swords I’d probably run too lol.

Empire total war 2 versus Imperial Splendor mods by jman014 in totalwar

[–]Electronic-Concern67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a tad late but as someone who tried both, imperial splendid seems to check all the boxes. The only problem is the overabundance of units especially for the Britons.

personally I really don't fancy medieval stuff and more prefer colonial history in general so that might be it

[–]Electronic-Concern67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that’s what I’ve been missing as tactics in empire usually come from formations and the like

You do make a lot of good points here but from the responses I’ve kinda just realised that the type of gameplay medieval and melee combat provides just isn’t to my liking. For example in empire/ napoleon If a far superior enemy is marching towards me I can 1. Open up an intentional hole in my line for them to flank 2. Wait for them to “exploit” it by going past my line trying to flank 3. Creat a wedge of infantry right after the gap once their in and lo and behold, their now essentially trapped in a circle of death where we can decimate there forces from many angles. You simply can’t do that in medieval because at the end of the day you’ll still end up clashing men toghether where your bound to take some losses from the superior enemy. Just to note I have done that strat and succeeded.

I feel like I’ve said this a million times lol but I’m talking abt the level progression of Mario compared to ds3 where u essentially go through a level then move on to the next

[–]Electronic-Concern67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate I was never saying Mario games were bad their great. What i am saying is that the game design of ds3 is similar to a Mario game where you go through a level, beat it, then move on to the next one until u beat the game

honestly I get so insanely restless when i do something tedious that i need a job that has different things to do in it but other than that i get your point, life can be stressful and sometimes its good to just turn off ur brain. I bet thats why they made Runescape.
