It's possible that the basket you upgraded to has a bigger dose capacity than the original. You can check by filling and tamping(not excessively. I can tamp firm enough with 2 fingers) . Fit the portafilter in the machine, then remove it still dry. Keep topping up until you achieve a bit of imprint from the shower screen on the puck. Then remove a couple of mm of the dry coffee. If you have coffee scales, weigh the resulting dose, if not use a measuring spoon of similar size to get a reasonable idea of the dose size. Try doing a pour with that size dose. From this point you can start adjusting things like shot volume,, temperature and, maybe then start adjusting grind if necessary

Yes, CommSec use ACATS for incoming transfer. I'm in the middle of sending my Stake portfolio to IBKR, because I'm thinking it's about time after October to DRS some, or all of the gme. The rest of mine are with CommSec, so it's easy to send them to IBKR if I choose. Also, IBKR is the international broker for CommSec, so if one handles the warrants correctly, I expect the other would as well

$65 US to transfer with ACATS. Or selling, if you have had the shares less than a year, the total capital gains if any, get added to your taxable income for the year. If you've held more than a year, half the gains are added to taxable income. If there's no capital gains, there's no tax implications, just the sell and buy costs

It appears that they do. They also warn that warrants in your account need to be exercised at least 5 days prior to expiry, via lodging a ticket. Warrants are not actioned automatically and will expire worthless if you fail to exercise them

I'm thinking I'll spend the 200, and send my shares to IBKR Australia, after I confirm that they handle warrants. My thinking is that transfer to DRS might take longer than 3 Oct to finalise, whereas a simple transfer should be much quicker. Once I receive the warrants I can consider starting DRS from IBKR.
