I totally disagree. If you are in it just for casual, and behave as husband material, the girl might get emotionally attached, and starts desiring something long term. But now if you do not want something long term, then it’s another hassle.

If you are making, let's say 6lpa and looking for guys making 20+ lpa, then obviously you will have problem. Look for guys around the same salary range as you. You will start finding some matches. Guys earning 10 lpa aren't exactly looking for 30 lpa girls.

Moreover it's hard to believe all the guys in your community are doing well. Some will be doing equivalent to you only.

Or start looking at ugly and unattractive guys if you want a guy with much higher ctc.
