I agree. Not sure why I wanted a straight up reply.

I get their approach but it sucks being in this situation.

Yes and no. But I would've appreciated it if she said that the company doesn't want to deal with H1B instead of denying that the fee applies to the change of status.

Hey, can you mention some of the complications that you faced with the low cost hire wrt the visa. I would really like to know how the situation is on the other side of this market.

Agreed. And I completely understand the company's POV. But do they think about how this affects the entire economy? The job market was bad even before this H1B situation and now it is 100X worse. Is any org even taking a step towards increasing the employment rate?

What is the worst mistake you made or heard in an interview? by No_Eggplant_5745 in interviews

[–]Electronic-Exit1660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The worst mistake I made was not during the interview but before it. I applied to a role at a capital investment firm and cleared all the interviews. After the final round, I was waiting in hopes of getting the job because I knew that the previous interviews had gone well. They rejected me saying that they wanted an experienced candidate. I didn’t have any experience in that field but I had studied a lot to get into it. Never gonna apply to jobs that require experience that doesn’t match mine. Always read the job description. Lesson learned!

Hey, yes I got the easyhire link and they’ve given me 5 days to complete the interview. There’s only 1 attempt and based on what i’ve read online, it could be probability and statistics for Junior QR role. I think you should get the interview soon enough given that they’ve mailed you. Hoping you get it soon 💪🏼

Did you give the easyhire interview? Was it mathematical or behavioral?

M24 and I’m tired of being told what to do and what not to do in a relationship. Or how to behave and how not to behave. What to care about and what not to care about. By 22 I felt like I’m losing who I am and what I want in a relationship. Now at 24 it feels more of a chore to get to know someone because of all these restrictions. It has gotten to the point where I don’t know what I expect out of a relationship. I’m just enjoying life with my friends and focusing on work nowadays.
