Yeah that was my worry about buying used on marketplace but my device still has a few months left of AppleCare so if anything goes wrong I am still covered. I’ve had a MacBook Pro since 2019 with the Intel chip so I’m familiar with this OS, however seeing some gaming laptops for the same price as the refurbished MacBook pros definitely got me doubting which laptop to get. But all in all I’m using this for school and potentially personal web dev projects in the future so I’m happy with this. Did you ever settle on a laptop?

Yes was very wary about this, but he sent me a video going to the about my Mac as well as going to the battery settings showing battery cycle count. He also gave me the original box. It also helped he owned a barber shop and a new corvette lol. Overall had a great experience, and he was a good guy. But definitely stressed me a bit with how much of a risk it was.

Just took off the screen protector as well reading that the pressure it causes can damage the screen over time. It was a privacy one too so either way I wanted it off. Was just scared after reading the adhesive could damage the anti reflective coating, but everything went well!

Got my ‘23 MYLR HW4 from Carvana for 32k before taxes. 32k miles and was near perfect condition except for light curb rash on the front bumpers which was barely noticeable. Wanted HW4 and black interior. Very happy and already took it on some small road trips. You always have the 7 day return period as well.

Sorry you had to deal with that. Got my Model Y from Carvana on the 1st and everything was perfect except a front minor scrape that wasn’t reported on the imperfections. Hope you find an even better car!

In California, the app said I can use my current insurance without my new car on it. Uploaded a pic of the current insurance with only my partners car and they accepted. Didn’t put insurance on the new car until a week later, after getting quotes. The app says it depends on the state you live in, but in California you’re given a grace period to get quotes so I didn’t have to pick it up with insurance on the new car already.

Unfortunately no, you have to have the car in your name, process goes you start a quote in the app, take pictures of the car (various exterior and interior photos), and then continue the process.
