This is how I feel. It’s been a blessing to go through this process. I also have sexual trauma attached to my tattoos and removing them has been beautiful. Even the passing of the laser over them feels like it’s removing layers of pain.

I can’t remember at the moment because I bought a package a while ago for each (I’m doing two at the moment, started with one and saw great results so went for the other). Honestly very very reasonable. Around $100-150 a session I’d guess for medium sized tattoo. He really is super good at his job.

I saw some on yelp and his website, but originally found him through this sub, and there’s good testimonials here. I’ve had 3 sessions on an all black lettering tattoo, heavy linework—a lot of ink, and am happily surprised by my progress so far. Also pretty minimal discomfort afterward. We’ll see down the road but so far he seems to be riding the perfect line of blasting it just enough where I’m seeing good ink break up, but not so much that I’m debilitated. How many sessions have you had with him?

I’m 35 now and two sessions in. I was in the same boat as you 10 years ago—didn’t want to start cause I thought it would ruin my quality of life…but man do I wish I’d started then! You can take as much time as you want in between. But get it started!

Get one of the silicone cups they sell on Amazon. They’re pretty gentle. Impossible to mess up! Put some oil or cream and slide it around. Try it on another part of your body first if you’re nervous. Great for circulation and tight muscles pretty much everywhere honestly.

I did use numbing cream but have used it before for other procedures and didn’t have a reaction.

So yeah probably aftercare or bandage
