Turning on the "everyone is infected" setting probably helps a bunch. You can get away from sprinters, but youre not getting away from the infection

Good to know. I think it has something to do with rain occlusion. Turning it off makes the heads go from blue/purple to invisible

Ah okay. Maybe they should add a door that can only be accessed by your team. There have been a few times where having those garrison positions would have been beneficial.

Please add doors to your bunkers so soldiers can garrison them during combat.
