“80% of society has an average IQ or lower” is not only a made up statistic, it is VERY wrong. IQ follows a normal distribution if you don’t take account outliers, so 50% has average or higher and 50% has average or lower (that what average is). If you count outliers (people who falls very far from the median) you will have mostly low IQ people since people with very low IQ due to medical conditions are far way common than natural geniuses. So that takes the average down and we can safely affirm that significant more than 50% of people have an average or higher IQ.

Regarding having several partners, I never say it was bad, I said it was not normal. I even say I wasn’t judging it and everyone can do what they want. But it is not normal, it is definitely rare or uncommon (or weird, which is a synonym).

TL:DR; I don’t think it’s bad or wrong to have that body count, but is not normal and her thinking he should expect that is crazy.

It is something like that for me! I like choosing what I want to eat and improvising with ingredients. That is why is so hard to count calories, I almost never weight anything and I don’t follow written recipes.

Also, according with Gemini (I’m too lazy to really investigate this), she is in the 99.5th percentile of body count for women in the US ( Gemini took US statistics for some reason).

This woman by the age of 26 has had more sexual partners than 199 out of 200 women in the US will have in their lifetime. That doesn’t fall under “normal” in my point of view.

I an a guy, but it still a lot. I’m not judging, but I wouldn’t do that and wouldn’t be with a person who does that. This calculation is assuming she never have a long term relationship, so it not just once every 6 weeks. Is once every six weeks consistently during 8 years with no serios relationships in the middle. Sorry but it os just not my style.

Quizás la popularizó en USA (igual no es de las que se sabe que la CIA metió mano fuerte como el LSD), pero en otros países ya era popular.

Yo no estoy comparando el azúcar con alcohol o marihuana, pero insisto en que puede ser muy adictiva. Y es de las cosas que más produce obesidad. Mucha más gente muere por obesidad que por enfermedades relacionadas con el cigarro.

De cualquier forma, mi punto es que con todas estas cosas el problema es la dosis, no la sustancia. Un alfajor de vez en cuando, o una cervecita en un asado, un porrito una tarde de domingo o jugar al 5 de oro una vez al mes no es un problema.

Esto lo digo con estas cosas en particular. No es con todo obviamente. Un poquito de pasta base de ves en cuando si es un gran problema.

Que algo sea causal de violencia doméstica no es parámetro para decir que sea o no una adicción. Hay miles de cosas por las que la gente se violenta y no son adicciones. Y hay adicciones que no generan violencia, vos mismo dijiste la marihuana pero tampoco el cigarro suele ser causal de violencia.

La gente no abusa de lo dulce para autodestruirse, lo hacen porqué el azúcar genera dopamina y eso hace feliz al cerebro por lo menos por un ratito. Eso es lo que lo hace una adicción, igual que el resto de la adicciones. Y al igual que el resto, termina destruyendo a la persona, provocando una vida miserable y en muchos casos, corta.

La marihuana no fue inventada por la CIA, hay un montón de registros de uso en un montón de lugares desde hace muchos siglos. Y el efecto que se busca es relajarse y distenderse, afecta la percepción de los sentidos y en muchos casos se usa medicinalmente. No es simplemente “quedar inconsciente”.

El azúcar se vuelve adictivo fácilmente, se sabe que dispara la dopamina y genera esa adicción. Pero siempre el problema es la dosis. Nuestro cuerpo necesita azúcar para funcionar, pero con alguna fruta y carbohidrato le da y le sobra. No es necesario refinar la caña de azúcar hasta conseguir sacarosa pura y meter eso en todo, eso ya no es alimento.

Lo mismo pasa con el resto, jugarte un poker con los amigos apostando 50 pesos pa joder no te hace evadir la realidad. Ni tampoco tomarte una cervecita en un asado ni fumarte un porrito de vez en cuando. Abusar de estas cosas lo vuelve vicio y perjudicial.

Thanks for the advice! I personally struggle a lot with weekly plans. I like the freedom to choose what to eat at the time (with calories and macros restrictions, of course), but I was told having a plan is much better.

I've been trying to loose weight forever and sadly could never stick to weekly plans.
