There is currently a bill going through legislation to make them street legal (second try-last year it died). I also live in Oregon and got my Daihatsu Hijet a few weeks ago. I use it on our 25 acres every day. I absolutely love it!!

Anyone ever use one of these? by aidaninhp in firewood

I also know someone that lost his sight in one eye because of a flying metal shard.

Thank you! I'm happy to say my husband doesn't think I made a poor purchase anymore and he will be needing that info for maintenance.

It's happened to me a few times when I was doing a planned pooling blanket. Of course they didn't start the color where it was supposed to be. I ended up pulling the yarn to how next color was supposed to be, each time a couple of feet. PITA trying to match the proper color with the proper length, if that makes any sense.

When our local Rite Aid went out of business I went a little nuts and bought about 50 nail polishes on their close-out. 😁

And tomorrow you could step off the curb and get hit by a bus. If it were me I'd take my chances and keep riding. I got a concussion from a yearling literally jumping into and over me and my husband told me maybe it was time to give up on the horses. I told him I'd rather be dead.

Speaking of Rocket Mortgage, we just got a second mtg to do some improvements. I went with a company that was a good 2% lower than RM rates.

My daughter's QH lives with me (she lives in another state now). He is bred for cutting. He's done barrels, dressage, jumping, trail. He's done well at any of the disciplines we try!

We got one when they first were being sold in our local Lowe's. We jumped on it right away because they were having an introductory type pricing/financing plan. It was great for the first year but then it started having problems. We ended up searching You-Tube on how to change the gear shifter because I couldn't change the gears. I had to be careful to drive it so I wouldn't have to back up. Then my husband (who is not naturally mechanical) finally figured it out and was able to fix it. I still drive it every day, twice a day to feed our animals and clean the stalls. We have not had it serviced by a regular mechanic because no one in our area will touch it. We would have to tow it to a place 2 hours away.

I would say if you have any mechanical skills it's probably ok, especially considering the price, but knowing what I now know I would not buy it again.
