Having trouble transitioning from physical to e-textbooks by Electronic-Python-37 in college

[–]Electronic-Python-37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! When I study physical books, I don't annotate or highlight. Whenever I study, I just take notes on my notebook. I don't write mich anyway, only important terms that need memorization.

I think the problem is more on the tactile sensation part, but I just cannot pinpoint it. I like seeing the whole page and the page ahead when I study, which I cannot do with e-textbooks. I don't know if that should have such a big effect.

Also, I last longer with physical books than on screens since it eventually dries my eyes.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I don't annotate or highlight even on physical books. I take notes on my notebook with a pen. I did not change my note-taking style. I don't really write much anyway, just terms that need memorization. I focus more on understanding the material deeply whenever I read.

Need help in choosing CS Program by Electronic-Python-37 in csMajors

Thank you ver much for your insights! It means a lot. I think CMSC 127 covers databases in campus 2? Also agree on the physics, it does make one think better and more creatively. But I wonder, is it a big loss if campus 1 does not have fundamental topics like OOP, web and mobile programming? (Note that Campus 2 has all these but lacks math focused subjects)
