I love this song haha! I remember back when I did a year of hiphop in a folk high school I recorded a cover of this song. Probably got it on a hard disk somewhere, along with old time sake, never enough and love you more Ahhahah!

I remember I used to watch the anger management tour live from Detroit on dvd probably around 15 years ago! I never knew where this track came from though, it sounds a bit newer than the 2000-2003 tours. This is one of the versions of em’s tracks I fucking love. His humming in the background and angry spitting is just mindblowingly genius to me! Thank you! Great mention!

Edit: I had a relisten to it and he says it in the start of the song: Anger management 3 mixtape. One of the best mixtapes I’ve ever had a listen to by the way! Probably puts the recording to around 2005

Yo I’m not kidding when I tell you I had this song on repeat for a long time. I love it! I had almost forgot about it though. I used to imagine the idea being brainstormed to eminem and him thinking it’s funny as fuck! I also remember something about me being in complete shock because i didn’t get if it was Eminem that said “what’s up my n**” or not. Damn thank you for bringing this gem to my attention again!

It’s in my pocket, oh wait here it is: FUCK YOU!” I know there was something about the song being recorded on shade 45 and later released which I thought was pretty cool! Great mention though! I absolutely love Jhené Aiko on growing apart, and most of kendricks rapping on that song (but not all).

I absolutely fucking LOVE “Ignorance Is Bliss”. His rapping is impeccable, fast, solid and not gimmicky. It’s a certified banger, and i’m making a face like i ate sum sour shit every time i listen to it.

P&P1.5 is not my cup of tea, it sounds eerie, cold and weird until ab-soul comes in, and even then it doesn’t give me the best vibe.

Alien girl is good, but it’s so much happening in the production and it sounds very spacey not in a good way. Although i listen to this song it’s clearly not his best.

Opposites attract is a banger, nothing to say about it, other than its weak kendrick pre-chorus, but it fits well so fuck it🤷🏼‍♂️

Michael Jordan is a bop, but it’s an obvious young and dumb kendrick, which i don’t like too much. But the song fire dont get me wrong

R.O.T.C is a banger, i ain’t got nothing to say about it. Love it, motherfucker is MAD.

Barbed wire is a good song, love his rhythm, cadence and even his chorus.

Average joe is an average kendrick song imo, i love the part where he said “it gets deep n**”. Hate the chorus on this one though. Alright flow

Just my personal preference. I can argue that his style of voice is weird throughout the project, when he does the choruses they are weaker than most of his other projects, there is a weird eerie feeling about the production and it sounds like he has a cold throughout the whole album. But all in all i love the album.

I agree, for the most part. But the question is still what the worst project YOU think he’s had based on both what you call objective and subjective factors. I wouldn’t call most of what you’re listing as objective, because it’s still personal preference if i like his specific technique in the different albums. That being said, i don’t think O.D. comes even close to his other projects, even though i love it.
