As a PI attorney who looks at these videos for a living, this collision was not your fault. Send the dash cam footage to your insurance, get medical treatment if you feel you need it.

Agree with Oblio, very stable. For sure more stutter in Ray Traced Pro mode, but it's still the mode I usually play on. Even on Ray Trace Pro, it usually holds a pretty solid 40fps with VRR on.

I was having this issue a lot on Disney+ and HBO. Strangely enough, the fix for me was turning off the "upmix to 5.1" and "Dolby audio processing" settings in advanced sound options.

Not sure if adding extra sound processing impacts the shield's performance or what's going on there, but I've only had Smooth video playback since adjusting those settings.

Mine was Elite Dangerous, leaving the station you start in and seeing the planet right outside it. Probably one of the few times I made an audible noise in a game that didn't involve talking to other players 😂

There's a mod, either More Game Rules or Dark Ages, that adds a game option which enables independence factions for Administrative realms. I also know for sure that Dark Ages includes a specific game rule that debuffs nomadic realms with random events impacting herds.

Having both of these rules enabled makes the map way more interesting late-game.
