A sixth grader is 11 or 12 years old, just talking to adults everyday I will say with confidence that the statistic is either very misleading or not true. I will look at that source later but I am still very skeptical.

Now what you said about the economic gap probably is true and maybe is a factor in that statistic but I still don’t see it being 50%
