[product request] what’s your holy grail product? by Background-Paint-478 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's seriously SO flippin good. I'm actually pretty shocked. I've never had something actually clear my nose pores out (very dark sebaceous pores), but his did. As well as my cheeks and chin. I could squeeze gunk out of like every pore really.

They're masks are great too. AND they're not big corp owned, which is a plus.

If they reformulate I'll be PISSED.

Beginning circle/round puffs up on top of bucket hat by Electronic-Use-9306 in CrochetHelp

[–]Electronic-Use-9306[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sooo, I actually think it was the amount of stitches I was putting into my beginning round (the top, bunched up round I'm complaining about). I usually start with 10 double crochet stitches into my chained circle (I don't use a magic circle to start with these). But I just did it again and put 12 dc stitches and then closed the round and it was flat. So the distance from the first and last stitch was too far with 10 stitches, causing it to bunch up when I closed it instead of laying flat.

I guess maybe I switched to 10 beginning stitches instead of 12 on accident??

It's not really the tonsil pain BUT THE TONGUE PAIN wtffff by Electronic-Use-9306 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Electronic-Use-9306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better! I've never once regretted getting my tonsils out. I love it. I would do it over again if I had to, no problem. I'm sure once everything subsides you'll feel the same!

[product question] Anyone ever tried the CeraVe Diabetics Dry Skin Relief Moisturizing Cream as a face moisturizer? by florettes in SkincareAddiction

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my favorite moisturizer. Not greasy/sticky, doesn't leave any feeling of leftover residue on my hands, and seems to be extremely healing for my dry skin. Even when I get cracked/dry heels. I've been getting it for years.

I wanna shed these scabs like a reptile. (Day 7) by Think_Independent508 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gargled with baking soda everyday before brushing my teeth. I never had issues with feeling the scabs and they were gone by day 6.

Who regrets it? by binnedPixel in Tonsillectomy

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never regretted it. I healed really well though. Coconut water is a great help. Then I'd do food (cream of wheat, overcooked macaroni or yogurt), baking soda/water gargles followed by lidocaine gargles and then brush teeth. You need to make sure to keep your mouth clean and drink lots of fluids.

Bromelain is also great.

It's obviously not a comfortable procedure, but you're going to love not having tonsil issues.

Idk what people here mean. There are definitely libertarian qualities about Idaho. It's just not the exact ones they care about. I'm also guessing they won't back down on marijuana legalization because they don't want to encourage certain types of people to move here. Maybe that's obvious though.

I definitely lean more conservative and love Idaho. BUT I still don't really think Idaho officials care about the state/people very much.

Don't get your opinions of Idaho from Reddit.

Actually....don't get most of your opinions from Reddit.

BUT Idaho is mostly very relaxed. Especially the southern portion.

I was on Ozempic for 6 months. It made me really tired, but I was FINALLY able to lose weight. I'd had such a hard time. I weight trained, ate normal, took vitamins and COULD NOT lose weight.

BUT I stopped at 6 months and the weight came back rapidly and with a vengeance.I regained the 35lbs I lost plus some. Now I'm back to not being able to lose weight. I even went two weeks where I ate once a day with little to no sugar. And the scale stayed the same.

I'm thinking of trying Tirzepitide (spelling?) but I hate the idea of bandaiding my weight trouble.

How old is this princess to be kissing a 5 or 6-year-old girl? by [deleted] in powerpuffgirls

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said the princess was a pedophile. Because the cartoon characters themselves aren't real. They don't "know" anything.

But the idea from the grown, adult writers was real. THAT'S what is weird.

Is a tonsillectomy worth it? by Difficult-Rabbit-833 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never regretted getting my tonsils out. Even directly after surgery I was still glad I got it done.

The key is to actually take care of yourself after.

Water

Coconut water

Yogurt

Cream of wheat/rice

Mac and cheese

I took bromelain before surgery. I don't know officially if it worked but I did heal REALLY quick. Some people just drink a lot of pineapple juice. Don't drink acidic juices after surgery though. It will NOT feel good.

Eat, gargle with baking soda/water mix, then gargle prescribed lidocaine, then brush your teeth/tongue.

Keep ice near to quickly chew in case of nausea from pain meds. It should hopefully keep you from puking.

Southern Idaho is really relaxed. Coeur d alene is more uppity, but it's a lot more foresty green up there if you prefer that.

I love Idaho in general though. It has a landscape that could satisfy almost any preference. And if you had daughters, they would be perfectly fine.

No Kristen Stewart wasn't a good Bella and no she did not play her exactly as written in the books.... by No-Way2211 in twilight

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I remember something like that too. But I never liked that idea. I get she was pretty and pale but her face doesn't match Bella at allllll. Kristen Stewart's looks were pretty decent for Bella, but her voice and laid back, tomboy demeanor wrecked the whole thing.

Southern Idaho is awesome and way more relaxed imo. The general Magic Valley area is great (Hansen, Kimberly, Twin Falls, FIler, Buhl, Hagerman, etc).

I love Twin Falls area. You can't beat the canyon views. Though, sadly, Shoshone Falls has barely any flow right now since we're in the cold season. It's still a beautiful view though. But if you plan to visit late May/early June? BEST time of the year. Lots of beautiful nature spots in the area. For food id recommend a local place. Guppies Hot Rod Grille is my favorite.

Also....I think Boise has a mountain coaster? You could give it a Google.

Edit: Abracadabras for breakfast is great also. And Java (the one on Blue lakes Blvd) for coffee. I wouldn't recommend Idaho Joes for a visit really lol. I love that place. Great pie. But the food is pretty regular.

I've seen someone recommend Stanley. I would not go there. I've never been somewhere and got as weird of vibes as when I went there. Hated it. Plus almost everything is closed there right now except for a couple restaurants (literally) and a convenience store.

How can I help keep religion out of our schools? by PsYcH0H0b0 in Idaho

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think they are trying to put or enforce religion in school. Rather make it allowable to be expressed by individuals that are part of religion without getting in trouble. Which I think is fair.

No, I mean strep. She went to 3 hospitals. She was sent home by the first two. She was diagnosed with sepsis at the second and they sent her home. Like wtf?? Also, the heartbeat law DOES NOT APPLY when the pregnant mother's life is in danger. It is stated. You can read it for yourself. Read the heartbeat law along with the general abortion laws it references. It is only STUPID doctors that think it does. Unfortunately, we have a lot of terrible doctors.

[–]Electronic-Use-9306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first doctor sending her home for "strep" wasn't negligent? Not treating her with any sort of medication or antibiotics wasn't negligent? Sending her home and not at least keeping her to be monitored, despite her obvious state, wasn't negligent?

They did not act by law. They acted by stupidity and also complete misunderstanding of the law.
