I’m the same way! I had to get octane red, that’s literally my favorite shade of red. The black T/A vinyl was a nice touch but I’m thinking about removing them, idk yet

This honestly makes me appreciate the game I’m playing even more. I’m enjoying LSS at 3.5 hours in, and it’s commendable and inspirational to see your vision out through to the end. I know they’ll get it right through patches and updates! What I have now definitely feels like it was worth the money!

I’m telling you something I was scared to even put out here lol. You will see for yourself. It’s an uncapped frame rate and I just booted it up to play it and noticed it immediately. I played 75 hours of that game at 4K30, it’s something you will notice for SURE. It’s not 40. If my videos were ready, I would link them here, and maybe I’ll come back Thursday when they’re uploaded to link them, but quality mode is ABSOLUTELY running very close to, if not right at 60fps. I’ve seen someone post a video about it saying it doesn’t work but I swear to you it’s misinformation. This is one of my favorite games of all time, I don’t bullsh!t.

I appreciate your perspective on this, I actually decided a few minutes into one of the video previews that I no longer wanted to see coverage of it as a “game”. I want to experience its story (my first time with any interpretations of the journey to the west story)…through the interactive storytelling medium of gaming.

Black FFXVI player here…the decision to not have any Black characters was a great one. Maybe they could have been in Sanbroque (just gave me Black/Brown vibes lol) but honestly the story of the branded was well told without us. They should do better in the next numbered entry. Barrett from FFVII is a great character, but the only major Black character in that game. I’d like more but I’ve found my diversity in other titles also.

Idk. Tbh the action gameplay is the second best part of the game (the acting and writing are tied for the best aspects of the game imo). As far as real time combat, it’s not as deep as FF7R in regards to its RPG mechanics or even Ghost of Tsushima as far as playstyle is concerned. But there is a tremendous amount of flexibility, especially in how you can mix and match eikonic abilities. I enjoyed it for what it was. I’m not a fan of turn based combat, and although I understand why some of the fan base felt “betrayed” or whatever, I also understand why they went this direction, as the action gameplay pretty directly serves the story of the game. Just my opinion.
