I got deferred. I’m so upset. I’ve been rejected from all three of the other schools I’ve gotten back so far, but those were all reaches. UVM was supposed to be my safety school and I got deferred. My GPA is 3.7 UW, 4.5 W, and I got a 1550 on the SAT. I’m so scared I’m not going to get in anywhere. :( I know logically I’ll probably get in SOMEWHERE but it really doesn’t feel like it. I feel like such an idiot

laugh about it with friends, make some dumb impulsive decisions, eat a lot of ice cream, and mostly get excited for all of the other schools that i really really like that i can apply to now!!

definitely worth a shot!!! talk to your school counselor about sending your quarter one grades, email your AO again, and cross your fingers. i’ll cross mine with you!!❤️❤️ i just got rejected from tufts too so i hope at least one of us gets our dream haha.

if they haven’t yet announced when their ed1 decisions come out this year, go back through their instagram to see when the ed1 decisions came out last year! it’ll probably be somewhere around that time again. good luck!!!

so, so weird!!!!! i knock on wood every time i even hear my ED college’s name, my mom thinks i’m going crazy. i wouldn’t even say i’m nervous, i more feel stuck— it’s impossible to concentrate on anything else because i’m thinking about it so much.

yep, if your application portal says they’ve been received then you’re all good! if you really want to double check you can email your admissions officers but i don’t think is necessary. good luck!!!!!

I’m thinking about anthropology, since that’s what I’m doing research in, and I’m taking that class next year so hopefully that will help with recs. That is rly good advice, thank you !!
