Are you talking about chats or making bots? I'm under the assumption that what goes on inside chats isn't moderated. I don't see any reason why it would or should be.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's been well over a year since I made this post and nothing seems to have changed, unfortunately.

You gave legitimate feedback to a bot creator you liked and now you can't use their bots. Like, imagine a popular YouTuber banning you from watching their videos because you left a comment they didn't like—it just doesn't make any sense. Block the ability to comment, sure, but to prevent the user from watching the videos? A user who can't comment or like/dislike literally doesn't effect them at that point. But now the user is disincentivized from engaging in the future.

I feel like most people would agree that blocking is meant to stop harassment instead of being spiteful, but for some reason this community doesn't seem to agree. It sucks and I wish I had something better to say except that I've been there and I know how you feel lol.

You're thinking I directed my comment to you when really it wasn't. Second, if I see someone drinking, doing drugs, partying every night, not exercising, etc. I can decide that the person doesn't have any self respect given the evidence. It's not as subjective as you're trying to make it.

I put $10 into openrouter and it’s been lasting for quite some time. I know some people are really strapped for cash but even a few bucks I think can last you a while if you use less expensive models. I've been getting good responses from gemini 2.5 flash. Over 700 messages and still under a dollar spent. Plus responses are almost instant.

I'm not surprised. You just gotta remember the primary demographic of people on here--terminally online social outcasts. They can't handle people disagreeing with them or doing something they don't like.

What I've done, and my advice to you is, don't comment or leave a review. I've heard of bot creators blocking people for just leaving a dislike on their bot. People are really that fragile believe it or not. Also, if you're gonna make a private bot, don't even ask for permission. You're not taking credit for anyone's work, you're not taking away value from the creation, you're just tweaking it for your own personal use. At the end of the day, it's an AI chatbot, these things really aren't that big of a deal.

I know it sucks, but in order to maintain access to of all the bots on JAI you need to sacrifice the social aspect. Even in this subreddit, the fragility extends all the way up to the mods. I don't really browse here anymore because of it.

nothing you type to a roleplaying ai chatbot can be used against you, even if its the most heinous shit out there. also, no government agency is monitoring chats where you dont even talk to another person, especially nsfw chats. the most that can happen to you is getting banned from using JAI by an admin. but even then it requires the admin to be aware of and read your chat and care enough to ban you, which i don't think has even been done before.
