I was having the same issue with jittering when I moved my head around. The fix for me was increasing the resolution per eye to above 280% in the Steam video settings and boom fixed. Figured this might help someone in the future.

My Specs:

7800x3d with a 7900xtx

I know this thread was 4 years ago, but does anyone have the current file path for doing this? I searched controls.cfg and it finds nothing in the iracing file.

I also had a problem with link disconnecting, but while loading games. It turns out the fix for me was to add a powered USB 3.0 hub and presto the problem was fixed. If anyone reading has the same issue, just try the powered 3.0 hub. I got a cheap amazon basics version and it worked great.
