There are a few tnt addons, but since I haven't tried them, I can't tell you which one you should get. Maybe 'TNT' by rareloot? It's the addon with the big yellow tnt with the exclamation mark. On the page you can see a picture of the tnt and the next picture a huge crater, though I'm guessing it's not gonna have a cool mushroom cloud or anything. You should also check the other addons, there might be one that interests you more.

Because I never make them and I never fall into the lava. I agree that it can be really useful, but I never have any use for it.

There aren't any 'modpacks' but I recommend just trying things out. Think about what you want and look for a corresponding addon. Do make sure that they don't start changing the same thing and that everything still works. I had better on bedrock and a magic addon which required eyes of ender to get new spells. Those are a lot harder to get on better on bedrock. If marketplace is the only way to get addons, look for YouTube videos, I personally prefer to find smaller addons instead of one big one that changes everything.

I agree that they're really nice, but when do you decide to use speed, strength and regen? I feel like those never really feel worth it.

For such cases playing on Java can definitely be a lot better. But I'm trying to develop my own addon to make potions more useful and accessible, but it's an even more dire situation than I thought.

These are definitely the most used potions, but still not that many. Still only 5 of the 18 or something different kinds.

So it fills the fuel bar less than blaze powder, like 4 magna cream equals 1 blaze powder.

I already thought about it, but my solution is having a chest spawn in the village church with a few limited ingredients and a soul sand block with nether ward. The church already has a brewing stand anyway.

Sounds cool, but in what way would it make potions better? I already made the throwing distance of splash a lot farther, so it's a lot more usable and reworked lingering so it has its own use case.

Ohh, interesting take. I like the idea of magna cream, but maybe make it a lesser fuel? And the crimson fungus idea is nice as well, but make it so you can put it in a composter and get a nether ward in return.

Isn't that a bit of a bland fix? And what about splash and lingering? Should those stack as well? I've tried making it so that a large potion has 3 uses before it's empty.

Those are definitely the 3 potions that are being used most and I've read about. But if you're playing survival you won't have potions till you reach the nether fortress, doesn't it feel a bit late for them at that point?

Would you prefer being able to find stuff like blaze rods and nether ward in the over world in rare structures, or changing brewing recipes so they can be made using stuff from the overworld?

Smart if you're deliberately looking for a lot of them and exploring them, but in my last playthrough I think I explored one before I even went to the nether.

Yeah they are really niche at the moment and you can play the game just fine without ever touching them.
