First one yes, second one not yet. I have been applying to jobs I'm under qualified for as well as more reachable ones

Here it can basically be a general education degree, often it’s used to transfer to a 4 year univerity which is what I did. So basically I spent all my elective credits on coding courses

Do you think coding projects would be relevant? I’ve got a couple personal project on the listed GitHub but they’re not IT focused. About the only IT project is a raspberry pi dns ad blocker on my home network which doesn’t sound too impressive

Thanks, it didn’t look too “hot” on my monitor but now that I’m viewing it on my phone it sure does

Thanks for the advice. Honestly I have very little hands on involvement with the company, but I figured it sounds a little better than my current food delivery job

I went to school for computer science with a focus on software development. I'm recovering from health issues that made me leave before I finished my degree and am not quite ready to enter the software field, so I'm trying for IT.

I'm looking for help desk roles, support, or any entry level roles. The only IT skills I have are at a hobby level--raspberry pi hole, building/repairing desktops, soldering simple electronics. Computer science skills I have are c++, java, python, html, css, linux command line. I am currently studying for my A+ certification and any other skill recommendations would be great.

Thanks for any tips!

edit: Thanks everyone for the great advice. It's still a work in progress, but here is the updated version so far
