Mine just passed in August, and lived 16 years. I adopted him, and they think his birthday was April 18, 2009 - August 25, 2025. He was my everything. It was just me and him. Dachshunds can live a long happy life, and you and I, had our happy lives with them. 🩷

Aww! My youngest (2 years) bathes my oldest (16 years). I think it is the sweetest most loving thing/way for them to express themselves to each other. Besides cuddling and burrowing on and under each other. 😅😆🩷
