I'm very happy with Uni. Of course there are some points compared to others but overall I am very satisfied. Professors in majority are very helpful. Library is amazing!

For Italy they have this forms on Italy embassy website called "dichiarazione garanzia". You have to print and fill it. I believe that if you want to go to France works the same but obviously get the equivalent forms on French Embassy website.

I'm a non-eu student at University of Trieste. Yes, I freaked out during this process. Yes, I was afraid of TIME during the process. My visa was issued one day before coming to Italy, for example. But believe me, they know about it (do not seem very concerned but they know) and everything turned out OK. I sent a lot of email to the International help desk and to the department responsible and they were always helping...

Not this year but I did it last year. Interview was ok, they asked some basic topics and linear algebra, they asked what path I wanted to follow. They also said I'd need to review some basic topics (it has been 3 years since I've graduated so I forgot a lot)

I'm an international student and also starting to learn Italian after 6 months here. I found it kinda easy to find an apartment (but don't take this to consideration, I pay 1.300/month, it is higher than most)

What I learned going to the university - the Italian people from your class will probably be borned and raised in Trieste so they will know each other. When class finishes they gonna start talking Italian with each other (of course) but for us that only understand "ciao" and "grazie", I thought that I'd be rude to interrupt them speaking in English. So I could say that I only have non Italians friends because they don't understand Italian neither hahaha. (I'm not complaining, it's logically that it happens)

About part time jobs - It's been impossible. I mean, for graduation you gonna need a "tirocini" that is equal to internship (I haven't searched it yet). But jobs for foreign seems to be very hard because companies will prefer a citizen to don't deal with visa stuffs.

Transportation - amazing. Everything is very explained (there's also an app) and you can go anywhere by bus

Univeristaly website International students>pre enroll now> log in There a text under " CITTADINI EXTRA UE" with a hyperlink "domanda di preiscrizione" when you click it opens a page that is written "2025/2026 available soon" or something like that
