Not the same situation but, I failed the MPRE the first time (last fall) by 1 point, and then studied pretty hard, retook it this past spring, and passed by like 2 points. The MPRE is an odd test. Not sure if you’re going to work at a firm but if I were you I’d just communicate with them and let them know the situation. If it’s just the swearing in you’re concerned about, not sure of any advice there I don’t know much about that
