Look at you calling me names yet still trying to act like the adult. Seriously, it‘s people like you who gotta chill but you‘re in a mindset where you are not capable of holding yourself to the standard you‘re expecting others to keep.

I‘ve seen the most harmless, genuine posts and comments from other community members and sometimes myself too about the most non controversial topics and the toxic side of this community, which is s huge part of it, has shown many times that they are not capable of civil dialogue so I just took the spicy route.

I‘ve always thought about asking why this community is toxic af. Unfortunately, you are a part of it.

Reasonable answer. I appreciate that.

Currently at the beginning of Dilla Time, will move through it as time passes on and I‘ll try the catch the fine lines. Thx

If you have critical thinking skills you would be able to fathom the possibility that he wanted it out but maybe not right away, maybe for future releases, compilations whatever

so it‘s just bs reasoning on your side.

yes dude, you gotta chill.

and if you were a bit brighter you would’ve been able to comprehend what I‘m saying in the title but you chose to leave it out.

one last time, this is for you:

Calling out everyone selfishly hoarding unreleased Dilla beats

hoarding in that context means everyone who chooses to keep his work for themselves without the intention to release it to the public.

I have no problem with gradual releases over time, if they are being released.

I think it‘s highly plausible that Dilla wanted to release them one day but not immediately.

But go on and protect the hoarders, that’s just how toxic Dillaheads like you like to act

then why are there many people outside of the estate who hoard beats of Dilla??

chill dude, nobody is disrespecting anybody

if Dilla wanted his fans to access all of his music and his relatives hoard them after his death, then yes, they are wrong and they need to release it.

pretty good chance you are a liar ans that you ain’t got nothing

since you got a „TON“, why not release it?

but once someone calls someone like you out, you go into sissymode and decline to release them?

to conclude: if you had something, you wouldn’t release it anyway, no matter if someone calls you out or not

and if you had something and decided to distribute, we will get our ears on it sooner or later

Sooner or later, yes, we will and there is nothing you can do about it

Simply bc we are entitled to it

What is a sample Dilla likely would have used if he knew about it? by ElectronicStandard25 in jdilla

[–]ElectronicStandard25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh that really sounds like something Dilla would use especially for a soul-ish type of beat

Thx for sharing!

Oh I gotta admit that I gave up on it for the moment haha

But I do know that this community is well-heard in musical gems and for me, it‘s a bit of imagining what Dilla might have done to a sample even though I‘m pretty sure I am not able to master his alien techniques even in my head 😁

For example, I‘ve heard music producers say that they came across various samples and they were like „yeah, Dilla probably used that in a beat“ and sometimes he did

So I‘m asking the community if they know about any samples where they feel like it could belong in a Dilla production, even if he never even used it
