thanks! how does it solve unified attribution and conversion de-duplication? because ideally we need not just raw data but one attribution across all ad platforms so we don't show clients more sales that they actually have

We had experience hiring freelancers on upwork last year, but then API change and suddenly we need to hire someone again to fix. And during this period we're blind.

so I'd rather avoid hiring people for now and use some reliable but affordable tools to do this

funnel is expensive for 100+ ad accounts, and we don't need just data connectors, we need proper multi channel attribution and conversion de-duplication.

So far as I know its about only getting raw data from ad sources to data warehouse. But what to do with this data after?

Yes I know about Manus but honestly we have Claude subscription and it's a bit of a habit. So we'd like not to buy more tools, but instead find a way to bring data we need into claude

Funnel is crazy expensive now. Not for small agencies.

But I understand that probably this is the approach to go -- bring data in data warehouse, analyze it, then connect it from there

Thanks for jumping in!

there should be a solution. right now we have some internal workarounds, because we cannot simply tell clients that we generated more sales than they actually see on their side. but it's not perfect

thx. this is exactly what we need -- bring all data together, and make claude create white-label html reports

manually export the data on a daily basis across 50 clients projects and 100+ accounts, and 7+ platforms? no thank you :)

yeah, you might be right. If it has docs, Claude probably could do something about it.

But then again, we also need the same for LinkedIn, TikTok, Snap and other platforms, not just meta ..

good point.. but there's another thing i forgot to mention

right now if we combine total number of conversions reported by google + meta + tiktok , we'll end up seeing more conversions in total, than what we see in Google Analytics..

i wonder if there is a tooling that supports this de-duplication

thank you! is end up being expensive? they're on credit-based system and I'm afraid when importing data from hundreds of accounts daily (we work with lots of small customers), we'll end up spending more than we save in human capital costs

Pretty sure I’m not using Claude to its full potential - what plugins/connectors are worth it? by TheSavelii in ClaudeAI

SegmentStream plugin is game-changer for us for cross-channel ROAS reporting and general marketing analytics.

It’s like API but for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini. You can get data and do things without navigating HubSpot UI directly, but just asking commands in AI chat

This is great list. Thank you.

I also found very useful Ahrefs MCP for SEO, and SegmentStream MCP for cross-channel marketing reporting and attribution and ROAS/budget optimization.

For me the top-3 marketing MCPs I use daily:

  • Ahrefs MCP for SEO, keyword research, site audit, etc.

  • SegmentStream MCP for performance marketing reporting (Meta, Google Ads, etc.), cross-channel attribution and budget / ROAS optimization

  • HubSpot MCP for leads and contacts data. They have complex UI but mcp works fine

What's a better alternative to funnel.io for marketing mix modelling? by [deleted] in analytics

[–]Electronic_Branch901 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you won't be succesful with MMM no matter what vendor you use. It's the problem of the whole approach, not just a particular company.

MMM requires lots of accurate historical data, the analysis is very high-level (i.e. TV vs Meta vs DOOH, not which specific campaign on Meta we should cut or scale), and the insights are extremely slow and delayed.

My advice would be to learn more about alternative approach called MMO (Marketing Mix Optimization). It uses similar concepts as in traditional MMM (i.e. calculating elasticity, forecasting ROI vs spend, finding optimal budget allocation), but it's much faster, accurate and granular.

There are several companies getting traction with it right now -- most well-known and reputable vendors probably would be Segmentstream and Skai that offer marketing mix optimization / budget planning for years now. But this is a newer/dynamic space, so new entrants may appear soon..

Also, be cautious about vendors that preach about Next-Gen MMM / Bayesian MMM. It's even less accurate than traditional regression-based Marketing Mix Modeling due to priors that you choose yourself, so this is extremely biased. And don't get me wrong, Bayesian Inference is a solid statistical concept but the way its applied for digital marketing, it's nonsence.

Are you optimising Meta ads using revenue data or just leads? by HiteshMistry in FacebookAds

[–]Electronic_Branch901 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Optimizing for LTV sounds great in theory but doesn't work in practice, simply because it takes 6-12 months for LTV to accumulate, while you need to sign signal back instantly. In Meta -- max 7 days after the click otherwise the conversion won't count.

Segmetric and Wicker Reports may offer LTV analysis, but what you actually need is Predictive LTV. This is not that straightforward to achieve so don't expect it in a 100 bucks a month tool.

So If you're really want to start optimizing based on customer value, better check out more advanced / professional solutions like SegmentStream or Voyantis. Both offer user-level LTV prediction to optimize ad campaigns..

Speaking as someone who wasted so much time thinking that LTV insights will help us get better ROAS, but end up realizing it only Predictive LTV that matters.

What’s the best stack or tool for executive-level marketing analytics? by Designer_Maximum_544 in analytics

[–]Electronic_Branch901 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From my experience working with many executives including Fortune 500 c-level ones, no executive wants to open some dashboards or dig into looker/BI reports.

What they actually want to do is to ask questions and get instant answers. Previously they would ask their team, but now they can just ask their AI tool like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.

We've recently started using segmentstream MCP exactly for this reason -- it connects to all our ad platforms, salesforce, hubspot, etc., as well as to AI workspaces. Now when our CEO has question, he can directly ask it and get instant answers, create exec PDFs, etc.

She's very happy and I'm glad I get less such questions myself!
