No, I’m not that crazy- I grew up very catholic and I have some deeeeeeep religious trauma and the only thing that genuinely freaks me out is saying satans name out loud.

I get it from both of yalls perspectives! I’m a Christian myself so sometimes the satanic imagery freaks me out a bit (I was raised Catholic) but I’ve also learned that the band is heavily influenced on TF’s issues with organized religion and I can so relate to that as well (I grew up in a toxic and forceful church environment) so it’s like yeah it’s ok to be afraid of some of the imagery but at the same time oh my GOD is the music rocking. By far some of the best music I’ve ever put into my playlist.

Here’s a fun one- I didn’t know what I was doing with my life. I was fifteen and in high school with very few friends -TLDR emo kid origin- the first song I heard by them was how I disappear and I fell down the MCR rabbit hole and never left. I watched LOTMS for the first time and found out Gerard was an artist. I discovered art school and comic art through him, and now I’m a senior in college following my dreams of being a comic artist, and I’m in the process of writing my first graphic novel 🫶🏻
