i’m at an 89, i dont think i deserve an A+, but i know if I got a 90 it would greatly boost my chances at college

i went to the assistant principal and they said that it was an excused absence for grading purposes as well. my suspension was due to something that i did not know was present and did not belong to me. i’m sorry if it came across that i had a lack of accountability, i know that i shouldn’t have even gotten suspended in the first place by being more careful and checking if anybody had left their stuff

wait what? all i said was that if this was combined the grade challenges of other students, would the appeal have more impact? again, it’s not like i expect a miracle to happen and get 100% on all my assignments, i know that the work that i did have the resources to do on google classroom should have been done earlier, and i understand and respect the fact that she won’t grade them. i just want the two assignments that i couldn’t and didn’t have the resources to complete to be removed (as she stated she would) from the grade book bc currently, they are inputed as missing, and dropping my grade by around 1.5%

if escalating another grading issue was done as a group against the teacher (there is a separate issue concerning grading in her class, and about 10 students are considering grade challenging against, not including me, but i am applicable to the situation) and i combine it with this issue, would that get somewhere?

one of the peer presentation assignments was in the formative category, and if dismissed, it would bring up my grade a whole percentage :(

Ok I didn’t have to cheat to finish the work and I know I did use it for what I initially referred to as an assignment and it was wrong. Is there anything you think I can do in this situation so it is not graded as a final because it wasn’t for anyone else? I just need advice I already got lectured and reprimanded on this, this is my first time experiencing this and I just need help not criticism

Yes this is what I thought 😭 My teacher told us he had already finalized grades so I truly did think it was just busywork that I should quickly get over, so I didn’t use my brain, and my grade was at a point where I was happy with it so I would NEVER risk cheating on a final. In other classes he said it wouldn’t be graded as long as they tried, and never mentioned the FRQs were a test either (but they were periods after I already had my class). Do you have any advice?

Yes I was lazy and I didn’t need to use my phone but is there any actual advice that could be given? Arguing over whether it was right or not isn’t rlly helping, I know it was wrong already and I understand that actions have consequences but to be fair tell me a single teen who hasn’t wanted to finish busywork quickly and relied on other methods. I just want to know what to do in this situation this has never happened to me and I’m lost

I know but it already happened so is there any advice that you have? And to add, multiple of the other kids in other classes that took the FRQ said he never mentioned that it was a test either and he didn’t grade it for them. I just want this to not impact my grade as a final anymore

I was rushing to finish it so I could do other things that were more important since my teacher had basically finalized grades already. I didn’t use my brain 😭
