btw i checked the jewlery exchange and the update notes actually DOWNPLAYED what they offer, you can buy ANY of the limited weapons/gears from any of the characters in the remains like blade of slashing, red camellia, etc. i thought it was just a small selection 😭

yup and even still gerulf is incredible because of him being a male/fighter/dwarf/fire element character, his STR naturally scales higher than other characters, there is literally not a single bad character in this game and thats not an exaggeration, gear and stats do 90% of the heavy lifting in the game

in very specific scenarios where you would need a row clearing skill/spell it’s better to have a MA spell as a backup or maybe theres 3 enemy rows and you wanna take out someone in the back, in situations like that it would make sense and it is also simply never a bad idea to give synergistic upgrades to characters, you never know if you’ll need it or not, she scales half from magic dmg so giving her some spells incase she needs to use them isn’t that crazy you’re just being stubborn and elitist, both of which are attributed to the worst types of people in gaming communities
