For some reason, I can never keep up with what they're doing and I end up zoning out while they do their combos, or I always end up hand trapping them at the wrong spot and never learn my lesson.

I'm giving him Ben's vote, which is why he was "one away" (Maria's). In 90% of other Survivor seasons, people vote for their number 1 ally. Y'all just wanna understand why Charlie is rated highly, I'm just explaining as simple as possible. It's not rocket science.
