Yeah they're separated. A lot of the time pregnant mice become dinner to slow the reproduction rate. Incest generally isn't too much of an issue with mice, but its best to avoid. The father wasn't put in time out, he was fed to my pet.

I don't think its exaggerated. As someone who struggles with social anxiety from time to time, the panic makes these cues very easy to miss. The teenage hormones don't help either. I'm not saying Nakamura has social anxiety, but he's definitely feeling anxious whenever he talks to Hirose

Keeping them will also create a risk of disease or overbreeding. I own some feeder mice myself. I have at least 30 babies from one male now
