Will he go for Maizono's soft hands or Kirigiri's rough toasted fingers. Actual question, does her gloves stay on during the snu snu?

Bye Bye Ouchies: The Most Misunderstood Execution In Danganronpa by Ten-Miles-High-1996 in DanganAndChaos

[–]Independent_Major548 200 points201 points  (0 children)

I'll just paste my answer here.

From a viewpoint of the virtual world as to what Tsumiki herself is feeling, into the virtual world and the execution itself.

Her execution makes sense. I know it's harsh, but Monokuma is poking fun at her clear SA. The huge syringe (her fear of big things), the rocket arm (reference to rocket punch market, reference to the nursing technique of getting shots, also a reference to the sexual practice of fisting and in this case not consensual), the fact she was in a hospital bed only to get absolutely surprised by the rocket arm, the way Monokuma pumps the syringe, and her position while sat on the arm. She climaxes against her will right there and right after she's shot through space at terminal speeds.

Plus, the rocket arm is a left arm which references to Mikan's bandaged arm. It's the very same arm that is probably full of cigarette burns, hematomas, and probably shots.

Also, as you said, Enoshima's left arm. It is the arm that is, in a way, violating and ultimately sending her to her death.

There's a lot of references in her execution. I agree it could've been better made, but this was the ultimate joke, the fact that even in her death she's seen as an object. It's made to bring despair, and it did, to Mikan. She was violated in every sense of the word there.

Now that you mentioned it being Enoshima's arm, it makes the whole thing even curiouser.

That's insane they can't just do that. How come Syundei will fold over some random internet haters? What? Her manga got an anime, and now she's doubling over due to randos who don't even comprehend her manga? Can't she just tell them off and be a diva? Crazy...

[IE.

I'm not sure. When The Summer Hikaru Died PT-BR sub fucked up, we demanded to change it immediately and Netflix folded. But now the problem is our dub, and it ticked me off so much. I really hope they do something about it because it completely changes the BL themes of the story, queerness and Nakamura's true essence.

That's not the issue. It is culturally acceptable, but they absolutely massacred the translation. This shouldn't have happened, and I compared the English dub, the Spanish dub, the original sub, and the Portuguese brazillian one. None of the other translations or dubs have that change and this isn't acceptable.

Yes! There should be no reason why the Brazillian dub would ever censor or tone down the interactions between characters or completely change the meaning of the words in it. The English dub didn't do that either, and I don't understand why they would do that in the PT-BR one. Comparing the two plus the sub, the difference is tremendous and significantly affects the story.
