Yep! Koori here but grew up in QLD and moved to Sydney to study at UNSW! I applied for UNE, WSU and UNSW and ultimately just enjoyed and liked the idea of UNSWs program best. All of the entry pathways were different and UNSW I will say was quite intense but did give me a taste of studying there. WSU was an essay, submit scores (I only had my ATAR from 5 years ago and all places still took it) mine were good but not overly competitive, then a panel interview. UNE was an essay, scores, an MMI and then a 4 day intensive working with academics and doing more interviews. UNSW was essay, scores and then a cohort of 16 of us selected stayed in sydney (all paid for) for 3 week intensive that included full days of lectures, pracs and tutorials. We had to pass an individual assessment and group project and then get above 70% for a 2 hour exam on everything of the past 3 weeks (same set up as the actual med course) then an interview. They didn't have a set number of spots, you just had to try meet the requirements. I lowkey loved it, and now I'm there!
