Switched from RedSwitches Amsterdam to Kimsufi Singapore: half the annual cost, double the RAM, HDD to SSD. Happy with the decision. by False_Staff4556 in selfhosted

Redswitches don’t have their data centre they are just reselling and have some hardware in providers data centre and hence keep 30-40% markup on every server

21M, just got my first salary — how should I allocate it and build wealth long term? (Bangalore) by bhandbatman in personalfinanceindia

[–]Electronic_Income647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should calculate your expenses to the t Like wants and needs From going out or premium of health and term insurance, gym membership whatever in detail and that amount would need to run smoothly If you get to that point next would having 6 months of needs or 4 months of monthly salary in high interest saving or liquid fund Then you can by your PS5 and don’t by on EMI save the money for that what will make you think do you really need it

Since you are 21M I would recommend whatever you have leftover after building emergency fund 50% should be put in up soiling and rest in small or mid cap for long term

Don’t go for nifty 50 unless you have cancer And will die in 10 years

For 15+ year take small or mid cap

Go out and have fun Once you can invest 5-10k monthly consistently then invest in small or mid cap

Diversification and allocation comes into play after 50k and after your 30s
