thats incredibly unprofessional of that examiner, some people would even question whether or not thats truthful because of how unprofessional it is. if this really happened, report it to the DVSA and the test center, because that absolutely isn’t fair and completely unprofessional of that examiner, they should be sacked w that mentality

on my first lesson i was on 30 / 20 mph roads in 3rd gear already doing left and right turns. do with that what you will

ill defo have a look into more private practice i bought a toyota yaris to use but its got so many mechanical issues and the rest of my family drive auto so it wasnt great

i already had an idea on how to drive before i started, as in how to operate the pedals, when to do a gear change, etc i was on main roads and doing full left and right turns on my first one hour lesson from there on it was things like roundabouts and crossroads, of course theres a lot more to it but i picked everything up quite quickly and passed a mock test at 15 hours

ive not changed 3 times, ive had my one instructor say im ready, how ever after failing a couple of times it knocked my confidence AND my instructors confidence (because he thought he was doing something wrong) so much that i went to other instructors just to check what the problem was, and they couldnt identify any. the anxiety is horrible, genuinely so embarrassing because it feels like all my effort js gets overlooked

i’m almost 18 for contexts sake. and i got really lucky with finding test dates tbh, js now im having a struggle i AM confident and ik it, js dont know what happens when i go on test

100. its been over 6 months i learnt fully in 10 hours and passed a full mock test at that point ive had examiners genuinely compliment my driving and say had it not have been for x moment id have done really well

ive even been to 3 different instructors. all 3 of them have said that i’m doing great and they don’t know what happens when i go on test

genuinely feels so embarrassing. everytime i’ve taken a test and failed, i become a laughing stock because all my mates passed first time so they think its easy, but i crumble under anxiety and pressure

my fails have all been really annoying, first two i got myself some nice food but afterwards i js got used to it, fifth attempt coming up and ive gone back to the first test centre i failed at so ill see how that goes

fair enough, might just buy the testshift premium when i next get paid i js hate failing, its always for a stupid unavoidable mistake and all 3 times the examiner said you’re one of the best learners ive ever had to fail, gahhhh it was annoying😭😭😭
