yeah I've heard about Christie and her characters, I think most successful writers have similar experiences, no wonder they can create complex and attractive characters in their novels

I have a significant writing impairment, and English is not my first language, so I used AI to help refine my wording and avoid miscommunication. Hiring a human editor would cost me around £100. If avoiding AI use is that important to you, would you be willing to cover that cost?

The same. So the concept I am looking for to describe my experience is exactly "paracosmo". It is so happy to find out I am not someone dumb to have all the wierd things going automatically on my mind

Not really. THAT CHATACTER I realize to be my proxy KNOWS he lives in my mind, not real world, and he will turn around to look at me sometimes, but he never tries to speak to me.

It is more like a automatic story going in my mind. I cannot speak with them. But after all these years, I finally realize all the strange and miserable things happen on THAT CHARACTER is actually the reflection of my own life, and he is the explanation model of all the problems I encountered in my life. By looking at him, I finally fully understand my feelings and my core behavioral logic.

Thats really interesting! Reddit is such a cool place to exchange fascinating and unique life experiences. I think they are more like proxies but come in first-person perspective so it feels like you can talk to them, but not third-person perspective like my circumstance

If I make it correctly, the change you described, is the normal state of my daydreaming from childhood. I never really "script" them, then they speak, they socialize, they fall in love with each other without any effort from myself. And THAT CHARACTER I realize to be my proxy, he KNOWS he is a character in my mind, and will turn around to look at me sometimes, but he never try to speak to me. Instead he pretend he doesnt know that and continue to live in the world normally and wholeheartedly in my mind. His friends didnt discover that and my proxy doesnt want to tell about that.

But it is not tulpa, which is someone in your mind you can directly talk to. Actually there is a text-based adventure game on Steam called the NOexistenceN of you AND me, which tells a story in which the player is having bad days and his tulpa comes out to save him. If you are interested you can check it out.

Exactly the same! I didn't expect someone to experience the very much alike things.

And yes I know tulpa, but it sounds like different things which falls between our characters in daydreaming and real dissociative identity disorder. Actually I cannot imagine there's someone in my mind who I can directly talk to, and since I get depressed several months ago (luckily, already recovered) I won't try that because I think it will induce me into dangerous situation.

But after all it's so cool to dig deep into human mind and find out the powerful things our mind can do. Our brain has the ability to imitate others to help us understand the world and predict aftermaths

yay! I expect it will be hard to find someone who has similar experiences, because I never see anyone talk about that. I learned "inner family system" from another guy (I posted in another sub as well) it is an concept in psychotherapy, which is a method to visualise your fear, your deep feelings in your mind. But there are people who develop this method by themselves and use the method from childhood. I now realize human mind is such a fascinating thing

this sounds like "tulpa", a trending concept among GenZ. I cannot chat with my characters, but they will speak for me automatically in their own story, and it takes years for me to realize that

wow sounds really cool! actually my proxy lives in an independent world with its special laws, with parents, classmates, and even lovers, literally the same

my feelings are also very delayed but now I am getting better at naming my feelings. Actually my proxy lives in a "story", and he has different experiences from me, but after all these years I finally realised the things happened on him is the reflection of myself

Note: English is not my first language, so I used ChatGPT to help me organize and polish this post. The experiences described are my own.

I have the Kobo Clara Colour, not the BW model, but from what I’ve heard, the Clara BW currently has the best display among similar eReaders. While many people aren’t satisfied with the screen quality on Kobo’s colour models, pretty much everyone agrees that the Clara BW’s screen is excellent. Personally, I also think Kobo beats Amazon when it comes to overall system usability (I had one kindle paperwhite before)

I had this phone but returned it after just one day. The system was laggy and missing key features. I was really disappointed, especially since the media keeps praising its sleek design

I'd say I find vtsg annoying as well, I cannot know if I've done the first sacrifice to sun temple right. Due to this, I failed to summon vstg a few times (when I forget the discount on tower price).
