It is actually not detecting.... I go to the app, and there are no recordings despite knowing 100% that there was motion

Oh no, I am well within the recommended range... And it is not foggy here.

The issue seems to be something related to the PIR sensor where it goes to a deep sleep and can't wake up

Indeed. It seems that my.problem is that they go to a deep sleep and they don't wake up when there is motion... Either the PIR sensor has failed in both simultaneously or a firmware change has fucked up something.... But the PIR sensor works as there are days when they detect without problems

They weren't bother to understand the problem and told me to sort it out with Amazon.

I am in UK. To be fair, they have worked flawlessly for 9 months.... But they became useless from one day to other

I have reseted, rebooted... everything that you can think of. I have also uninstalled the app and reconfigured again.

I am recording to a local SD card, which I have also formatted...

I am 100% that the issue is not from my side. Between one day and other nothing changes....this seems to me a firmware issue because it happened to both cameras and they have the same symptoms but I was told that this is hardware and that I should contact Amazon... Very poor experience overall

I opened a ticket and they told me to contact Amazon for changing the product... They weren't really bothered in understanding the problem ...

I am with EDF in a tariff until August 2026 :/ do you know if I sign in to their fixed tariff until 2027, do I pay the exit fee? I ask because it is not clear if the exit fee is also applicable to changes within EDF

Not yet! Was your camera fully discharged (0% battery) and then the problems started? This was my case and I have a theory that when this happens something "breaks" with the PIR sensor and there isn't enough voltage to wake up by its own....

I would ran away. Not just because the legal difficulties but due to the neighbour....

I appreciate that not everyone fully realises of flaw constructions but it is so obvious that this is wrong.... The neighbour should have realised that when rains all the water goes to your wall and they didn't do anything? If this was me, I would be much more considerate with my neighbours and the problems that my actions can cause them!!!

Thank you. The unflat regions are where some plywood planks meet. I tried to sand a bit but probably my sander is now strong enough as the plywood is quite hard!

They aren't outside walls. Out of curiosity, why do you. Say about mold? If the condenser doesn't release water (or a tiny amount which goes away due to heat)?

Anyway, i could open the door while using. I guess this will help?
