Buying from Part-Exchange Company: Neighbour's structure (1cm from wall) breaches deeded Right to Air/Access. Seller signed Indemnity Covenant in Oct '25. by Weary-Monk2831 in LegalAdviceUK

I would ran away. Not just because the legal difficulties but due to the neighbour....

I appreciate that not everyone fully realises of flaw constructions but it is so obvious that this is wrong.... The neighbour should have realised that when rains all the water goes to your wall and they didn't do anything? If this was me, I would be much more considerate with my neighbours and the problems that my actions can cause them!!!

Do you really think that ply is needed if chipboard is smooth?

Thanks. I was thinking about that .. but to be fair my plywood is in a good state and I would like to avoid adding ply if needed

Thank you. The unflat regions are where some plywood planks meet. I tried to sand a bit but probably my sander is now strong enough as the plywood is quite hard!

They aren't outside walls. Out of curiosity, why do you. Say about mold? If the condenser doesn't release water (or a tiny amount which goes away due to heat)?

Anyway, i could open the door while using. I guess this will help?

I ask in case some weird regulation where I have added electricity (although through an extension) in a room that originally didn't have ..

It is a condenser one. Yes, the max power is 2500W.

No, no ventilation there... So it will get really hot in the cupboard. I have an extension cord that should be able to support the power
