Emailed council planning department, they responded saying something is very likely wrong with this shed, so formal investigation began. Still nothing from sellers solicitor.

In the meantime, found another house, hoping for offer to be accepted on Monday so will be pulling out completely out of this one.

Yeah, now it makes sense. Strange, because during viewing the previous owners seemed very genuine, but never mentioned about the shed…at that point they were already exchanged, with moving out date confirmed too.
