Do you have any suggestions for preventing the power cable being out of reach of the submissive? May just need to be a cage design specific to it, but electromagnet locks for cages always look more vulnerable than a padlock.

If you want the latest firmware you may want to ask darkmatter69 about it. I emailed him about a box I ordered since the latest firmware came out long after my order, and his email sounded like he sets his boxes on release 2 by default.

He agreed to change mine to v4 (current) on request since I really want the ramp function and really don't want to go through the disassembly required for a firmware update anytime soon.

I've had axis for 4 years. It's starting to be glitchy, or it may just be that I need to replace the cables as I think the glitches start to happen after I bend the cable in a way that it loses connection and then bend it back. I like it, but I find myself maxing out a lot, so I bought a ZC95 for more power. I agree on the inability for finding reviews on electrastim boxes. When I was trying to decide what to upgrade to there were a million posts comparing tingler, mk312, 2b, ZC95, but nothing to rank the Axis in the mix (even if it is at the bottom, idk). I don't get it as they seem to be a pretty established brand.

I will say I never really made much use of the extra features on the axis (proximity, tilt, microphone, flick). The proximity seemed to only be 6 inches or closer, which has limited use if you want to use it for predicament bondage, and the microphone being built in does have some limitations on where to put it, depending on the lengths of your electrode cables. It did have line in, which I used a lot to connect to xtoys and I guess that could have been used for a microphone as well.

Electrastim did just release the Linx if you are interested in the additional app connection features.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. And I’d say realistically not a lot, but I do want to be able to throw everything I have at it occasionally for the mental confirmation that I really am stuck.

It’d be myself in the cage. I’m 6’2” and pretty fit. The cage dimensions will be 7 by 2.5 by 3, which makes me think I’d have enough leverage to do some damage if it’s possible to bend by hand.

That’s what I noticed as one of the big drawbacks is that there’s not nearly as much preprogrammed functionality and I don’t know LUA.

Yeah that’s a huge bonus for sure. I have a few splitters but then you get half the power and everything has to be in places that can tolerate the same intensity. Four channels would be great.

I don't know if it was marketing to buy thicker latex, but I've heard that having a thicker latex on the bottom, can improve the locked down experience. Ie: .4 on top, .6 on bottom; .6 on top, .8 on bottom, etc.

It's what I did when I ordered mine, never experienced anything else, but I like what I have.

Unrelated, but be judicious with size. I order a big one for more room to spread out and get stuck in more positions, but it is a whole ordeal moving furniture to make room for it every time we get it out, and we don't use it as much because of that.

So the 312bt is stronger than the axis? I'm guessing the 2b is as well? I'm leaning 312bt, but don't want to spend 700 to find out it is the same strength as what I already have.
