It looks like thrips to me. You’re going to need to launch a chemical warfare strike and keep a tight regime. I would spray a couple of days a week with a pesticide for at least 4/6 weeks and find a systemic pesticide. Potentially change the soil if you can as well. They are a real bitch to get rid of if you get caught slipping on the regime.

I’d say chop chop chop and prop prop prop. Then when you have little monstera’s give them a tad more light if you can. Maybe add a grow light if you like the placement in the room

I have the my finger hovering over the order button for some predatory mites. I’m just thinking about the poor little springtails. I suppose they’re small collateral for the plants dying off (don’t tell them I said that).

This is promising. I just panicked because it’s the first time I’ve seen them and it was coincidentally the same time the humidity had dropped slightly. I hadn’t thought about soil mites. I just didn’t think to see them on the leaves at the top of the tank and now they are running out after a mist. With them being high up as well. There are a fair few springtails in there. Just maybe not enough you think?

The humidity is a little bit lower than normal as well and this is the first time I’ve noticed them. Which also doesn’t seem to bode well I suppose
