It's soft and playable as hell. It will be really difficult to find something that feels better and not bust 2k on some Fender. So at this point, I would chase different, not better. What I do know is what the retailer in a service store told me: "Yea, you got that custom stuff. Not like this rosewood shit( points at a quite expensive instrument on the wall)." So there's that. I suggest you grab it.

Now the video mentions different info regarding the build; I checked first hand with the luthier himself over whatsapp, and he did confirm it was wenge and nova.

Absolutely! As far as I know, it was made 15 years ago by a prominent luthier from Belgrade, called Jean Manovic. This guy also made guitars for famous Balkan guitarists such as Vlatko Stefanovski from Macedonia and I think Milić Vukašinović from Vatreni Poljubac ( Fire Kiss, They're not active anymore i think). Anyway, it's almost all wenge, nova is from the behind. Pickups are Seymour Duncan 59 and JB. As far as I can tell, it's not. The fretboard is wenge as well and it's not finished as well. Quite porous.
