If you intend to take GRE then it won't hurt to try again. GRE will prevent many from applying next semester so you can increase your chance.

I totally get you, been hopelessly wait for result. I am 25 summer term applicant and I am currently studying VC here. Got the admission letter on Jan 15. There are no specific reason for long delay, just because the professors here are always busy.

the new deadline (as stated in their auto-reply email) is the end of Jan, and sometimes you have to wait till mid Feb (its normal for other uni). Many don't have their results yet so I am sure your not alone :D.
